Solange Azagury-Partridge curates an auction with Paddle 8 London

Jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge, formerly creative Director of Boucheron who now owns London’s most exciting, colourful and iconoclast brand, is curating an auction of jewellery, fine art and design objects for Paddle8.

The dazzling selection of 66 exceptional pieces ranging from Solange most iconic creations to estate jewellery and art, reflects her enthusiast and vibrant spirit, her passionate sensuality, and the ecclectic taste that set her apart from more traditional jewelers.
“All the things she loves” is exactly what inspired Solange’s careful selection in her curated auction for Paddle8, which coincides with her brand’s monumental 25th anniversary.
Azagury-Partridge contributed 12 of her own designs to the auction. They include her signature Hot Lips ring in an exclusive for Paddle8 royal blue enamel version, sapphires and diamonds multicoloured Chromantic earrings, Eye with Tear necklace with rubies and diamonds, and a stunning Rainbow tiara in black opal and multicolored diamonds set on black gold. Along with these pieces, Solange has handpicked works by Jewellers that have had an influence on her work, such as Buccellati, Cartier, Boucheron and David Webb plus rare interior pieces that she designed.

Launched in 2011, the auction house that has now offices in New York, London and Los Angeles said the sale represents its “continued expansion beyond contemporary art” into other collecting categories, including jewellery and design.
